A deep i-selected multi-waveband galaxy catalogue in the
COSMOS Field

The Paper:

The Catalogue:

The catalogues of the different fields are packed in two tar balls:

The first tar ball (Catalogues_COSMOS_v1.tar.gz; ~30 Mbyte) contains the catalogues in pure ASCII, whereas the files in the second tar ball (Catalogues_COSMOS_skycat_v1.tar.gz; ~30 Mbyte) are formatted for SkyCat usage. Please read the  included README file for more information.

A new comparison between photometric and spectroscopic redshifts:

As described in the paper, the photometric redshifts published here were calibrated using 162 spectroscopic redshifts, derived from a (at that time) publicly available sub-sample of data from the zCOSMOS project. A consistency check we have done (a posteriori) with a much larger data set from the recently published zCOSMOS Data Release DR1 (Lilly et al., 2007, ApJS, 172, 70) confirms the redshift accuracy of ~ 0.035 derived in our paper (see plots below). For these plots we use the latest (30 October 2007) spectroscopic data with confidence class > 2.0.
