Results of Observations

A. von Kienlin, G. Lichti, and A. Rau, on behalf of the INTEGRAL SPI-ACS GRB team, report:
Ulysses, Mars Odyssey (HEND+GRS), INTEGRAL (SPI-ACS) and Konus-Wind observed this GRB at 51310 seconds. As observed by Ulysses, it had a duration of approximately 2 seconds, a 25-100 keV fluence of approximately 1.5E-06 erg/cm2, and a peak flux of approximately 1.0E-06 erg/cm2 s over 0.50 seconds.
We have triangulated it to two preliminary, 3 sigma error boxes whose approximate areas are 220 sq. arcmin. each and whose coordinates are:

These error boxes may be improved, and it should be possible to remove the ambiguity.

Further analysis of this burst (GCN 1962) indicates that the correct error box is quite likely to be the first one, namely:

Final analysis of the Konus data for this burst (GCN 1962, 1965) confirms that the correct error box is indeed the first one, as stated in GCN 1965. Further improvements to this error box are possible.
