SSS Bibliography

This page contains a bibliography on supersoft X-ray sources which is aimed
at being complete, at least as the observational part is concerned.
However, there are various reasons why this is impossible at
a 100% level, e.g. varying classification of individual sources or just
the unintentional ignorance by the author of these pages. If you, the user,
notice any reference which is either wrong or incomplete or has a wrong
link, please let me know.
Also, if any reference is missing which you think should be included, please
send me a note.
The links on the journals in most cases refer to the ADS Abstract page
of that article, so one further click will be necessary to retrieve the full
scanned article. Whenever the journals offer electronic versions (e.g.
ApJ and A&A since 1997) the corresponding PDF or PS
files are linked instead of the ADS Abstract. In some cases, direct links
to the journals are not possible, so the link points to the page of the
corresponding volume (e.g. PASP and AJ since 1998).
References are sorted chronologically per year, and alphabetically
within a given year. This bibliography is considered an
integral part of the Catalog of Supersoft
X-ray Sources. It is therefore appreciated if you acknowledge extensive
use according to the suggestion given on the catalog front page.
