(1) Countrates in the ROSAT PSPC corrected for vignetting, i.e. absorbed on-axis countrates. Countrates in the HRI have been converted to PSPC rates using a conversion factor of PSPC/HRI = 7.8 (Greiner et al. 1996)

(2) Temperatures for the M31 sources are the maximum blackbody temperatures derived from the hardness ratios at the appropriate absorbing column (Greiner et al. 1996)
