Local InformationThe conference venue is at the Garching Research Center (Garching Forschungszentrum), where MPA, MPE and ESO are located(map of Garching campus). The conference will be held in the MPE lecture hall (Max Planck Institute for extraterrestrial Physics, building 4). Munich-Garching area is located on the river Isar north of the Bavarian Alps. Bavaria is one of the most beautiful parts of Germany with many touristic and well known places such as the castle Neuschwanstein in the Alps. Munich is in the heart of Europe less than in 4-5 hours drive or train trip to Switzerland, Austria and Northern Italy, to great touristic cities like Berlin, Vienna, Prague, Strassbourg, Dresden.
