PKE-Nefedov
Short Description:
The plasma crystal experiment ''PKE Nefedov'', a collaboration between our institute and the Institute for High Energy Densities (IHED), Moscow, supported by the German (DLR) and the Russian (Roskosmos) space agencies, was one of the first natural science experiment onboard the International Space Station ISS. The investigation of complex plasmas in generals and especially plasma crystals was then a new topical field in micro-gravity and space research.
